Matthew 6:9–13 — 9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

1 John 1:8–9 (ESV) — 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

 Prayer involves receiving God’s pardon for our sins so that our friendship with him can be closer and deeper.

God’s desire is for you to walk clean and forgiven at all times so that you can experience his power and victory daily.
