In Your Hands I Commit my Spirit

Into Your Hands I Commit My Spirit

3.24.2024

Jesus said, “Into your hands I commit my spirit” to show that in

my darkest hour I can trust God with my life.

HOW TO TRUST GOD IN MY DARKEST HOUR

R___________________ GOD’S EVERLASTING LOVE FOR ME.

“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” – Ephesians 3:18-19

R___________________ THAT GOD IS WORKING IN WAYS I CAN’T SEE OR UNDERSTAND.

(Jesus) “My Father is always working, and so am I.” – John 5:17

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” – Romans 8:28

R______________ THE SITUATION TO GOD’S STRONG HANDS.

“We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die.  But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead.” – 1 Corinthians 1:8-9

Memory Verse:

“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.” – Psalm 23:4

R______________ ON THE PROMISE OF HEAVEN.

“And there will be no night there – no need for lamps or sun – for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever. Then the angel said to me,‘Everything you have heard and seen is trustworthy and true.’” – Revelation 22:5-6

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”    – 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
