Solomon said, “Proverbs 4:7–8 (NLT) — 7 Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. 8 If you prize wisdom, she will make you great. Embrace her, and she will honor you.

Proverbs 1:2 (The Message) — 2 Written down so we’ll know how to live well and right, to understand what life means and where it’s going.

Proverbs 1:3 (NLT) — 3 Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair.

Proverbs 7:1–2 (NLT) — 1 Follow my advice, my son; always treasure my commands. 2 Obey my commands and live! Guard my instructions as you guard your own eyes.

James 1:22 (Good Ne) — 22 Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to his word; instead, put it into practice. 

Proverbs 1:7 (The Message) — 7 Start with God—the first step in learning is bowing down to God; only fools thumb their noses at such wisdom and learning.

Proverbs 9:10 (NLT) — 10 Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.

1 Corinthians 1:24 (NLT) — 24 But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
