The Prayers of Jesus – Part 1

Kevin Wells   -

There is no right or wrong way to pray. Prayer is a language of us talking to God and God answers. us. Some pray quietly, some are bold. God does not care how you pray, just that you do. He loves being in conversation with you, his child.

Hebrews 4:16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

1. Prayer is to be a natural part of our lives.
As we would talk to our family and friends, we communicate with

Our God through prayer.

Prayer is not so much about words, but an attitude of the heart.

2. Jesus Reminds us Who we are Talking to in His prayer:

Matthew 6:9

Our Father, which art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day
Our daily bread.
And forgive us our debtors
As we forgive our debtors.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom
And the Power,
And the Glory, Forever.
Amen
